All probes are completely autonomous<\/b>. They do not require a wired connection to other equipment. This allows them to be installed completely underground<\/b>, protecting them from passing machinery.<\/p>

They are configured by enabling Bluetooth functionality<\/b>, and through the DENODL\u00ae App, they integrate into the user\u2019s facility. The system retrieves the GPS coordinates from the mobile device used to configure the probe.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The probes are compact and meet the IP68<\/b> protection classification. They are capable of operating under extreme temperature<\/b> and humidity conditions<\/b>. All probes offer measurement capabilities that are unique in the market. Among other things, they can measure volumetric water content<\/b> and water potential<\/b>, which are the two most relevant soil parameters from a hydrological standpoint. Water potential is the force, measured in kilopascals, that a plant\u2019s roots must exert to extract water from the soil. In sandy soil, less force is required, whereas in clay soil, more force is needed.<\/p>

Both measurements can be used to generate the soil suction curve<\/b>, which helps us understand soil dynamics and classify the soil according to the twelve standard USDA soil textures. Coming soon to the DENODL\u00ae App<\/b>, we\u2019ll be able to view the soil particle size distribution<\/b>, derived from the suction curve.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
