BUILDING A PURPOSE

In 2002, Fernando Sarría began his entrepreneurial journey in the field of civil engineering with the founding of FSESTRUCTURAS, a company specialized in engineering services focused on excellence in management, client orientation, and results. This vision brought with it the commitment to deliver maximum value in terms of construction costs and technical support to architects during the project design phase.

In just a few years, the company became a benchmark in the north of Spain and in Mexico.

In 2013, Fernando promoted the creation of the FSINGENIUM Foundation—an educational initiative for young people aged 10 to 16, framed within the international FIRST® LEGO® League tournament, which includes over 32,000 teams worldwide. The goal was to instill the paradigm of excellence in the many generations of children who took part in the Foundation’s programs.

In 2018, a group of young engineers and researchers trained through the Foundation—promoted by FSESTRUCTURAS and Fernando himself—demonstrated that purpose, inspiration, and leadership can achieve great things. That team, FSINGENIUM Team, became the first non-North American team to win the Global Innovation Award in Silicon Valley, standing out among tens of thousands of projects aimed at solving real-world water-related challenges. That year, the team presented the first prototype of what would eventually become HYDROBALL®.

THE CONSTRUCTION OF DENODL®

The Foundation’s activities taught us that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary results when they believe in a purpose and work together towards a shared goal. It also taught us the importance of leadership and that, to be the best, we must innovate. Those who copy may aim to be second, but never first.

With these principles, Fernando led the founding of DENODL® (FERNANDO SARRIA AGROTECHNOLOGIES, S.L.), supported by new investors who provided the necessary momentum for such an ambitious project.

DENODL® was born with the same spirit and ambition that made the Foundation team great: to be the best by offering efficient, easy-to-use products that deliver real value in the real economy.

Our vision is to become a global reference in the development of technologies and their integration into autonomous, internet-connected devices that measure and act upon their surroundings. In addition, we aim to lead in the development of digital twins, data analysis systems, and artificial intelligence for the management of rural, sports, industrial, urban, and domestic ecosystems.

DENODL® TODAY

Our company’s management model is strongly shaped by Fernando’s experience as both an entrepreneur and coach of the Foundation team, as well as by the lessons learned during his time at Lanzadera, the business accelerator founded by Juan Roig to support the growth of promising startups.

All essential functions—product development, operations, customer support, business development, and general management—are carried out in-house. Achieving our goals requires investing in our own team, made up of professionals from diverse backgrounds: electronic, software, agronomic, and process engineering, as well as operations, sales, management, and administration.

The DENODL® model is built on five equally important pillars: the customer, the employee, the distributor, society, and capital. Building this model is essential to ensure long-term sustainability and to maintain the necessary levels of growth and investment in new technologies.
